Angus & Kitty Stirling – ‘Common Ground’

Angus Stirling

Angus Stirling comes from a family possessing strong affinities with creative art. For much of his career he worked in the Arts. In 1995 he returned to painting in a dedicated way and studied with Robin Child at the Lydgate Art Research Centre near Marlborough. He began contributing to selected group exhibitions from 2005.

In 2010 he had his first exhibition jointly with his daughter Kitty at Gallery 27, Cork Street, London. Following this successful venture they are now showing together for the second time. He has since exhibited with the Cricket Gallery in London, and Gray Modern & Contemporary Art at the 20/21 International Art Fair at the Royal College of Art.

Kitty Stirling

Kitty Stirling was born in 1966. She studied Fine Art at Chelsea School of Art and Byam Shaw School of Art and her work has been regularly exhibited in solo and group exhibitions since 1990. Much of her life has been spent in the Quantock Hills of Somerset.

Between 1999 and 2007 she divided her time between England and Greece, where she taught and painted. Most recently represented by Caroline Wiseman Modern and Contemporary, her work is in private collection and has been selected for the Lyn Painter Stainers Prize (2010) and the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition (2012).
