David was born near Derby in 1945.  He studied at Derby College of Art from 1962-64 and at the Central School of Art and Design, London from 1964-67.
He has had numerous one-man exhibitions at many leading venues, including Queen Mary College in London and the Wiltshire Heritage Museum, Devizes.
His work is in many public and private collections throughout Britain.
