'A Year in West Somerset'

Exhibited by Ian Cryer and
The Lynda Cotton Gallery.
The West Country Interior in Contemporary Life
'Wood, Earth & Canvas'

Exhibited by Bruce Howard,
Robert Nash and
The Lynda Cotton Gallery.

This was an exciting challenge both for Ian and the Gallery.  It was a personal interpretation of life at the beginning of a new century and consisted of 75 works on canvas.
Ian has used Watchet as a base and so included a good proportion of Watchet subjects.
His interests are wide ranging and he is just as happy painting the landscape and villages as he is painting a pub, cottage or the railway.  He delights in working with people and involving them in the process of making the picture.

A Year in West Somerset Catalogue

This exhibition succeeded in introducing contemporary paintings and sculpture in conjunction  with early furniture and artefacts from the West Country.
Highly successful, it attracted buyers from as far afield as the U.S.A.
