Arthur Wilde Parsons R.W.A. 1854 – 1931
A well known Bristol landscape and marine painter, he worked in both oil and watercolour.
Much of his subject matter was taken from the West Country and Cornwall where he was a regular visitor.
He was a regular exhibitor at the London galleries, including the Royal Academy, the Royal Institute, the Royal Society of British Artists etc.
He was elected a member of the R.W.A. and lived for much of his life in Rodgate, Bristol.
